—The European Union (EU)Directive 2002/95/EC. The RoHS directive stands for the Restriction of the Use of Certain Hazardous Substances in Electrical and Electronic Equipment. This bans the use of certain substances in electrical and electronic equipment products placed on the European market after July 2006. 
—Abbreviation of Federal Communications Commission. FCC has specific requirements for electronics devices that limit the amount of harmful interference they can produce when operating. FCC compliance simply means that the specified product either meets or exceeds these requirements.
—The letters "CE" literally mean "European Conformity", A CE Marking is the symbol
